Spend a day reconnecting with family & friends as you explore all that Wells House & Gardens has to offer! Our 17th century Victorian Manor House and a history dating back to the days of Cromwell was remodelled by the renowned architect Daniel Robertson in the 1830s and he is also responsible for the parkland and garden landscape that are being lovingly restored by the current owners. Discover dragons, fairies, trolls and much more on our two Woodland Walks, spend time in our Adventure playground, make friends in our animal farm, relax on our terraced gardens, and enjoy our arboretum.

Wells House & Gardens
RELAX | EXPLORE | PLAY | STAY
The grounds of Wells House and Gardens are open daily from 10am to 5pm, inviting visitors to explore our two woodland walks, terrace gardens, arboretum, new walled garden, and animal farm. There's plenty of fun for everyone, including our adventure playground!
We also offer guided house tours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the summer season, and on weekends during selected off-season months. This is an additional experience to enjoy when visiting Wells House and Gardens.
Please note that occasionally, due to private events, we may need to adjust our tour hours. If you’re planning to attend a house tour, we recommend calling us at 053 9186737 to confirm the schedule and address any queries you may have.

We are currently developing beautiful new walks through the Magic Woods of Wells House & Gardens, which children and teachers can enjoy on their visit. Our Adventure Playground is perfect for letting the kids work off some energy before getting back on the bus. All our packages offer free playtime for all.
