2025 Easter Fun for the Whole Family at Wells House & Gardens!
Make this Easter weekend truly unforgettable with a magical day out at Wells House & Gardens, where adventure and fun await around every corner! With two egg-citing activities to enjoy, there’s something special for every little explorer and the Wells estate provides the perfect backdrop for this family day out.
Join our Annual Easter Hunt along the Fairy Woodland Walk, and don’t miss the Easter Bunny who will be making a special appearance! Every child who takes part will be rewarded with a delicious chocolate egg—a perfect way to celebrate the season. Over in the Terrace Gardens, little ones can enjoy glitter tattoos, while the Animal Farm offers a chance to meet and handle some of our cutest furry friends!
For an extra touch of fairytale magic, our Fairytale Fun & Train Ride event in the Arboretum is perfect for younger visitors. Meet beloved childhood story characters, enjoy classic nursery rhymes, and make a wish with our Fairy Godmother before hopping aboard the Wells Express for a delightful train ride!
This year our Easter Egg Hunt takes place over the Easter weekend and don’t forget the Easter Egg Hunt is an additional add on to your visit and you’re welcome to enjoy the estate all day long.
Fairytale Fun & Train Rides will be held on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, and Easter Sunday.
Tickets are on sale now, and we highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment! Please note that these special Easter activities are optional add-ons to your visit, and general gate entry must be purchased unless you are a 2025 Wells House & Gardens member.

Easter Egg Hunt
Our traditional Easter Hunt will take place on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday this year!
The Easter Bunny has left a number of token to be gathered as a hunt on our fairy themed woodland walk for you to find.
Follow the instructions and you’ll receive a tasty Cadbury’s Egg as a reward!
We will also have glitter tattoos and more on the day along with the Easter Bunny who is looking forward to meeting all the children on this adventure!!
Please note this is a ticketed event and we recommend pre-booking as we may not be able to cater for walk-ins on the day.
You must reserve your spot on one of the allocated time slots for this event in advance ! Please note this is an additional activity to our gate entry.
Fairytale fun and Train Rides
The magical Arboretum becomes plays host to some of your favourite characters from childhood fairy tales, nursery rhymes, film characters and childhood literature for your little ones to meet!
You’ll meet favourite characters from nursery rhymes, films, books and more as part of this option add on to your Easter Weekend Visit.
You can enjoy meeting and greeting these popular fictional characters and then enjoy a train ride in the arboretum as part of this fun activity that runs over the Easter weekend!
This is a ticketed event and pre booking is advised and strongly recommended particularly for Easter Sunday.
