Newly Refurbished to a High Standard
The latter end of 2023 has seen the first stage in the renovation of the self catering cottages on the Wells estate. The first phase of this project began in the first courtyard of the old stable block in Wells House and while the exterior remains unchanged to the design of Daniel Robertson the new cottages offer a charming blend of classic elegance and modern comfort.

For those seeking a quaint rural retreat in a unique setting, the self-catering Courtyard Cottages at Wells House provide a charming blend of rustic authenticity and modern comfort set in the heart of the Estate. Spanning 450 acres of enchanting woodlands and pathways, visitors can unwind amidst the natural beauty or engage in the various activities and amenities on the estate. The site boasts an adventure playground for children, an animal farm to meet and greet the residents, and opportunities to delve into the wonders of the arboretum, Fairy walk, Mogue’s walk, and even encounter the famous Gruffalo.

The cottages are just a few minutes drive from the busy village of Kilmuckridge for self-catering supplies and plenty of food options. The vibrant market towns of Gorey, Enniscorthy and Wexford are also close by.

We are currently developing beautiful new walks through the Magic Woods of Wells House & Gardens, which children and teachers can enjoy on their visit. Our Adventure Playground is perfect for letting the kids work off some energy before getting back on the bus. All our packages offer free playtime for all.
