Spend a day reconnecting with family & friends as you explore all that Wells House & Gardens has to offer! Our 17th century Victorian Manor House and a history dating back to the days of Cromwell was remodelled by the renowned architect Daniel Robertson in the 1830s and he is also responsible for the parkland and garden landscape that are being lovingly restored by the current owners. Discover dragons, fairies, trolls and much more on our two Woodland Walks, spend time in our Adventure playground, make friends in our animal farm, relax on our terraced gardens, and enjoy our arboretum.
Entry & A House Tour
Discover the 400-year-old history of our 17th Century House by taking a guided tour of the house. Our living house tour and expert guide in Victorian dress will bring you back to a time. To when the magnificent ground floor and bedrooms witnessed the stories of Cromwell, Rebellions and the Famine. Uncover the everyday lives of the wealthy and powerful families who lived in the estate and their famed architect Daniel Robertson. All giving you a unique insight into the life of previous generations all the way up until the current owners of Wells House & Gardens moved in.

We are currently developing beautiful new walks through the Magic Woods of Wells House & Gardens, which children and teachers can enjoy on their visit. Our Adventure Playground is perfect for letting the kids work off some energy before getting back on the bus. All our packages offer free playtime for all.
